Children in the Middle
  • This is a co-parenting and family stabilization class delivered in one session

  • The class provides specific examples of putting children in the middle of parental conflicts and how you can be effective co-parents

  • Topics include exploring parental attitudes with each other that effects the children in divorce or separation situations

  Helping Children Succeed after Divorce

Parents Helping Children Cope with Divorce or Separation is a court appointed parent education program that fulfills the requirements of ORS 3.425

  • Complete the divorce education requirements for the courts before the mediation process. 

  • Divorce can have a devastating and destructive impact of custody conflicts on children

  • Understand the adult experience of divorce or parental separation

  • Better understand what your child experiences in a divorce or separation of parents

  • Learn ways to help your children understand and cope with divorce or separation

  • Learn models for developing cooperative co-parenting skills after the divorce or separation

  • Learn how to manage conflict and anger with the other parent

  • Improve your cooperative co-parenting skills

  • Explore the Oregon Parenting Plan before mediation
